Mission
The mission of International Academy of Design and Technology is to provide our students with a quality education in a responsible and ethical environment that will prepare them for an entry-level position in a field related to their course of study. In addition, we strive to promote self-discipline and motivation so our students may have the opportunity to be successful in their chosen career as well as in society.
Campus
The education facilities at the International Academy of Design and Technology campus include microcomputer labs with telecommunications capabilities, a hardware lab, an information resource center, an art studio, air- conditioned classrooms and a variety of other educational aids.
Living Accommodations
The school can assist students who are looking for comfortable living accommodations at reasonable rates. The school has listings of conveniently located apartments. Contact the school for additional information.
Career Services
We want to help make sure that the education our students receive results in a successful and rewarding career. Therefore the school maintains a full-time career counseling service that is in constant touch with leaders of business, industry and government agencies throughout the country. This service is designed to assist the student in finding possible job opportunities and realizing their career objectives. Prior to graduation, the Career Services Director meets individually with students to develop job search procedures and techniques. Efforts are made to arrange interviews with those businesses that provide the best career opportunities for students. Our career counseling service has placed our graduates with companies throughout the United States.
In addition to the placement efforts of our Career Services Director, the school provides students with effective job search techniques developed by one of the leading job search firms in the country. The school is committed to provide employment assistance to all students in good standing. The school makes no guarantee of securing positions. This employment assistance is made available at no additional charge to the student. The school provides a posting of available part-time jobs for those students who either need or wish to work while attending class. To this end, the school will work with students in an effort to secure suitable part-time employment for them. However, the school cannot guarantee part-time jobs or specific levels of earnings.
